Enter into Doors of Prague...

While I was traveling in Prague in July of 2009, there were a few things which caught my eye: the incredible architecture, the vintage trams, the river bank. 

But as I was walking around the city, I noticed how amazing and unique the entrances to public and private buildings were. So I started photographing these doors. I realized at the time that I would make it a photo series. Heretofore, I posted a few of these images as separate entries on this photoblog, Erudite Expressions (the links to the photoblog posts are below). It wasn't until I created my first photo essay earlier this year—The High Line—that I realized that I should present Doors of Prague in the same fashion...

Many doors in Prague had incredible detail, such as this decorative lion.
