As I mentioned in a prior post, it's really hard to get an iconic shot of Wrigley Field (for example, this is what I consider an iconic shot of Yankee Stadium). Since the upper deck is dominated by the press box, you're forced to scramble and make compromises. Portions of the field will be in obscurity. Here, for instance, I didn't get as much of the stadium lights in the left and right side of the frame. Also notice the stadium field is partly cut off at the bottom. The best bet at Wrigley is to probably shoot multiple images and then combine into a panorama in post. This technique introduces its own complications, of course, and this wasn't something I tried during my visit. |
