 I captured this scene outside of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. If you've been following Erudite Expressions for a while, this image may look familiar: I posted a similar shot, titled “Feast at Notre Dame,” in August of 2009. The two shots are similar in context, but the post-processing is different (for today's entry, I post-processed with darker tones and manipulated the color balance with the LAB color mode). How many birds do you count in this frame? Careful before you answer: something emanates from the shadows... In unrelated news: LOST (my favorite show on television, by far) had an absolutely spectacular episode tonight titled “The Substitute.” Do we finally know what the numbers really mean!? Bonus points if you can find a connection between today's image and the LOST universe... |
