A windy afternoon in Georgetown, Washington, D.C.

I was drawn to this plant growing outside a brick home in Georgetown. I set my aperture to f/1.4 on my Canon 35mm f/1.4L lens to bring focus on the delicate plant and blur out the background.

Now, when I think of Georgetown, I think of this: quaint homes, stately buildings, and beautiful decorations. What does Georgetown mean to you?

I'll be posting more images from Washington D.C. next week.
