Can you believe it's December already?

I was looking through my archives tonight, and this image grabbed my attention. I captured it in the beautiful city of Seville, on the edge of the Guadalquivir River. The sun was setting, and it made for a wonderful evening of relaxation.

I was doing some long exposures in this particular instance (working to create some HDRs), but I liked this single exposure (captured for 1/2 seconds) for its juxtaposition of a cautious observer and the fleeting friends. What do you think?

I've previously featured Seville on Erudite Expressions. The first image I posted was the magnificent bridge in Seville. I also posted a wide-angle shot of Seville's Spanish Plaza. And you can't miss the long exposure night capture outside the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla, the famous bullring of Seville.
