![]() This week's street photography series continues (see here, here, and here for the previous entries)... I captured the image seen in today's entry on the streets of Munich, Germany. I can't tell you the exact location because I didn't write down the street name. The scene is simple: a man is fixing a bicycle (which also appears in yesterday's entry; by the way, did you notice anything unusual about the bicycle in yesterday's entry? I encourage you to take a closer look). What is unclear is whether this is the man's job, or whether he is fixing his own bicycle. Does the hint of a bicycle wheel on the left side of the wall change your perception? §§§ I want to ask whether you can take a minute (or less!) of your time and vote for Erudite Expressions in the 2009 Photoblog Awards. Please vote only if you like and/or appreciate my work. I've been posting images here since April 2006. I've posted more than 1,200 images (corresponding sale) on this space since I've began this photoblog. I don't really like asking about this voting too much, because at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. It's not a popularity contest. But I think there is a purpose in this contest: to highlight or showcase some of the more interesting photoblogs on the internet. I want to quote what another excellent photoblogger said about the 2009 Photoblog Awards. Faisal Sultan, who runs the excellent photoblog Frisky Pics, writes the following: These things like 'awards' and such often tend to be fickle and nothing more than a popularity contest. But I want to start to share what I love with more and more people and if that means selling out and asking people to vote for me, I'll do it.May I suggest you vote for Frisky Pics here? If you're not convinced, take a look at these pictures: one, two, three. Faisal has been at it much longer than I have: since 2003! If that isn't dedication, I don't know what is... There is a registration process required before you can cast your vote (yes, registration is somewhat annoying, but the process assures of only one vote per email address).
