![]() Take a deep breath. I am posting on a theme this week: street photography. I captured the image seen in today's entry next to the New York Stock Exchange in lower Manhattan (see my New York City gallery here). I suppose this security guard was taking a short break from his duty. In other news: 1) The Atlanta Braves are playing really well down the stretch! The Braves won their seventh consecutive game tonight at Turner Field. Now they are only two games behind the Colorado Rockies for the National League wild card. I am going to the game on Wednesday and will probably post a picture from the game in Wednesday's post. Let me know if you're going to the game! 2) If you haven't noticed, I have made slight cosmetic changes to Erudite Expressions. First, I created two rows of links on the bottom (it used to be one row). I have added a link to the books page, which is updated with my favourite classical works. 3) Another new feature I am trying out is the Suggestions tab, which appears on the right side of the page. If you click on it, you can send me suggestions about what you like or don't like about the photoblog (or suggestions on which kind of photos you do or don't want to see in upcoming posts). The feature is provided by Skribit, which is a start-up started by a Georgia Tech graduate named Paul Stamatiou. 4) If you have a minute, please register and vote for Erudite Expressions in the 2009 Photoblog Awards (link). |
