In yesterday's entry, I mentioned that the entry I will have posted today will have been the last one I post for one week or more. I now realize that I really want to devote some time crafting that post before I sign off for an extended period of time, so that future entry will come sometime later in the week. I can promise that this future post will be interesting because I will talk about whether most of my images represent reality (or not).

As for the image in today's entry, it is a shot of two beautiful wedding rings. I am currently working on expanding my wedding portfolio, and I thought I'd include this image by adding it to the wedding collection. I have an 8”x12” metallic print of this image made, and most people who have seen the print have been impressed. The image was captured with the Canon 5D and the Canon 100mm macro lens and post-processed to give it a vintage feel (I used three different textures here at various opacity levels to create the effect seen). I do think this is one of my better wedding images, and I am glad it has finally made an appearance on Erudite Expressions. It's always a challenge in my mind to post a lot of wedding images on this photoblog because I never meant for Erudite Expressions to become a wedding blog (sometimes that's the impression that some readers may get after a week or more of consecutive posts related to a wedding). I do want to say that at its core, Erudite Expressions is still a personal blog, mostly devoted to everyday life and travel photography.

Thanks for viewing, and as always, I appreciate your thoughts and comments.
