 This is the third of four images I am posting from Dima and Nataliya's wedding, which was on Sunday. The first two images were of Dima and Nataliya dancing to “Mad About You” by Hooverphonic (I have since updated the two previous posts, found here and here). Seen in the image is the elegant gift box from Dima and Nataliya's wedding. Before all the guests entered the reception hall, they mingled in another room (there was some hot food, drinks, chocolate covered strawberries, and a goofy magician who entertained the crowd with some tricks). I arrived to the reception site early, so I walked around and captured some photos. I saw Julia was about to place her envelope inside the box when I told her to “hold that thought” so that I could capture a shot (it's one of the few arranged/set-up shots I captured all night). This is the resulting image, cropped to a final 2x1 presentation (one of my favourite crops). In the background of this shot are the out-of-focus cranes on which the guests could find their names and table numbers at the reception hall where they were to sit. I will post one more image from Dima and Nataliya's wedding tomorrow. |
