 As promised (see this previous entry), here is a picture of Melissa dancing with her dad. This image was captured about a minute or two after Paul and Melissa made their first appearance to the reception site as husband and wife. Most guests anticipated Paul and Melissa to have the first dance, but that wasn't the case. In a graceful and moving gesture, Paul took the microphone from the MC and directly addressed Melissa's dad. Paul was sincere and thankful. Paul then invited Melissa's dad to have the first dance with Melissa. It was a great tribute. The dance was beautiful, full of emotion. Toward the end of the dance, Melissa couldn't restrain the flow of tears. I think a lot of the guests shared her sentiment.
