![]() Seen in today's entry are the newlyweds, Paul and Melissa, from the wedding I described in yesterday's post. This image was captured after the conclusion of the ceremony at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (disclosure: I worked alongside Esther Lee of Esther Lee Photography, LLC during this wedding). We spent about twenty to thirty minutes doing some formal portraits, of which this was one. After the formal portraits, we all proceeded to Villa Christina for the reception. As far as capture and post-processing: the image was captured with the Canon 5D and Canon 17-40 f/4L lens (at 17mm and f/5) using a combination of natural light and a bounced flash with the Canon 580EX speedlite. Post-processing was minimal in the sense of preservation of tone and white balance from the original RAW file. I did go into Photoshop to remove the wide angle lens distortion; I also removed some distracting elements from the ceiling. Melissa's dress is gorgeous, don't you think? |
