I have so many images from Europe to go through, but I am drawn to the images I captured on my recent visit to New York City. Perhaps it's because I've been to New York before, and I was focusing on different subject matter compared to what I was focusing in Europe (mainly: architecture and tourist destinations). Perhaps it's because there are so many images from Europe that I have to look through, that I feel overwhelmed (not knowing which images to post-process first), so I am coming back to the photos I captured in New York City instead.

In this scene, we have two girls crossing Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan. One of them must be bored (or really tired): she's yawning. I captured this image shortly after capturing the GE building shrouded in fog.

If you are a fan of street photography (and especially if you like New York), you should check out the work of Joseph O. Holmes; his photoblog, Joe's NYC, is superb. One of my favourite images of his is this one of West 43rd Street.
