Today I visited the city of Graz, in the Austrian federal region of Styria. With a population of nearly 300,000, Graz is the second largest city in Austria, after Vienna (prior to making it to Graz, I always thought that Salzburg was the second largest city in Austria).

The primary purpose of the visit to Graz was to witness the 2009 RoboCup competition, in which my cousin's classmates were participants. It took about two hours by car to make it to Graz from Vienna.

After the competition, we decided to explore the city. I captured the image seen in today's entry from the Graz Schlossberg (Castle mountain which overlooks the city, with the highest elevation of 475 meters above the city). The image is a high dynamic range image comprised of three exposures. I captured at least three to five images from Graz that I will post in the coming weeks or months, so stay tuned.
