![]() Yesterday evening I photographed an engagement session for Dima and Nataliya, who are seen in today's entry. It was a fun evening. We started off at Publix, where we had dinner (Publix has awesome subs and sandwiches). We also played around with some shopping carts. After Publix, we proceeded to an isolated park for some photos. However, perhaps the best part of the evening was maneuvering through some brush and climbing uphill to reach the railroad tracks nearby. It was definitely worth the effort. The sun was setting, which made for magnificent results. This is one of three photos I will post from this engagement session (those of you linking from facebook already saw an album with more than thirty photos). I've also decided to create a special gallery for engagement sessions, which may be found here (to go along with the wedding gallery). I've also cross-posted this photo into the people gallery. By the way, I am still booking engagement sessions/weddings for 2009. I am not available in the month of July, but August is entirely open (five weekends). I'm also available for the last three weekends in September. If you're interested, please get in touch. Free Print Update The free prints giveaway is currently ongoing (click here to read the FAQs and see which prints by Mpix are part of the giveaway). The latest mini-contest is for you to answer this question: 'What is your favourite book and/or a book you recently read and recommend to others?' You can answer by leaving a comment (click on the 'comments' link found below the photo) on this or any other photoblog entry. Those who will enter will be eligible to win the free print; I will use random.org to select the winner(s), as described in the caption of this post. I've decided to extend the contest to Tuesday, June 23 at 11:59PM (this deadline definitely will not change). Remember, the more responses I receive, the better the chance you have of winning! I mentioned previously that if there are more than ten responses to the book question, then I will give away two prints; if the response rate is thirty or more (at this point, it is highly unlikely, as I've received only eight responses so far), I will give away three prints. |
