 Seen here is the 2011 Ford Fiesta set against the Atlanta skyline. I captured this image on Saturday, as part of the 'Super Slick Fiesta' mission in which Paul participated. You can read a lengthier description about the mission in this previous post. The image in today's entry is a high dynamic range image (see my complete HDR gallery). I used three bracketed exposures (-2EV, 0EV, and +2EV) to shoot three RAW images, which I then imported into Photomatix Pro to tone-map the resulting image. After getting the result from Photomatix Pro, I scaled down the blue tones and bumped up the yellow tones slightly. As a result, the image that you see is a scaled-down HDR, at least when compared to the previous HDR image of the Ford Fiesta. What I like about this image in particular are the yellow tones reflecting from the Fiesta as well as the beautiful golden tones seen reflecting from the Bank of America tower in the background. Of the two HDR images I posted, which one do you prefer? If you don't like HDR images, then yesterday's image should be more pleasing. Free Prints Update I am running a photo contest for free prints.
