I captured the image seen in today's entry on a walk in Seville, Spain. In particular, this image was captured just a few minutes before I captured 'Together and Alone.'

This was one of the last shots in the evening in which I used the Canon 100mm macro lens (the aperture was f/3.5 and the shutter speed was 1/200 seconds).

The image is definitely noisy, as I had to use 1600 ISO. Dealing with the noise in colour images is occasionally a challenge, and in this particular case, I decided to convert the image to a B&W. The conversion was achieved both in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CS3. One of the things I did was pull the blues of the sky toward black, which creates a really moody atmosphere, in my opinion. There is not much else I have to say about this image, except that I do like the architectural element of adding a mask to the top corner(s) of the tower.

Note: my entire B&W gallery is here.
