This is an image of Joshua and Jackee leaving the reception hall, at the end of their wedding on May 2. This shot was captured with the Canon Rebel XT and the Lensbaby Composer lens, with the exposure time of 1/3 seconds (the aperture was f/4). My primary camera, the Canon 5D, was attached to the Canon 17-40 f/4L at the time.

This is an unconventional shot from the ones I shot most of the evening. However, I've posted unconventional (some may say creative) images on this photoblog before (see here and here), so I am just adding to the collection. The more traditional images (those that are properly exposed and tack-sharp) will be presented in the proofs album, which I will upload soon.

And I should mention that this is the other image in which I used a texture. Again, I try to be conservative with the use of textures, but I do think its addition brings about a nice effect for this particular image. Of course, I realize this kind of image is not to everyone's liking (leave a comment if you do or don't like the image), but sometimes I have to break certain rules in order to create something unique.
