Today is the 1st of May, and after a weekly absence, I am back to posting.

After thinking that I would go back and finish the April posts retroactively (I already had the images I want to post selected), I have decided against this approach. Quite frankly, I was very disappointed in the lack of response (either positive or negative) with regard to highlighting one photoblog or photographer in each of my daily posts in April. As such, I decided that posting retroactively would require much effort with little to any benefits.

Anyway, the reason I didn't update for a week was because I had final exams this week. They were challenging, but that's to be expected, I suppose. My last final exam was today. I captured today's image of Atlanta from the sixth floor of Georgia Tech's library, where I was studying. The stadium lights that you see in the image are part of Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field.

Finally, a small update regarding an addition to my gear. The image in today's entry was captured with the Lensbaby Composer, which I received this week (I ordered it from amazon.com). I've taken about fifty photos with the Composer so far, and I am very impressed with the results I am seeing. I don't see myself using this lens too much, but I do think it will come in handy for certain portrait shots, especially since I am trying to shoot more weddings this summer and in the fall...

Perhaps I need to create dedicated website or blog where I highlight some of my portrait/wedding images. If you have any suggestions or thoughts, please leave a comment.
