![]() Tourists explore the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, France. Since they have a roof over their heads, my assumption is that they couldn't see the top of the Palace, as I did. It was a neat area to explore, a sort of maze of tiny streets. If you navigated correctly, you would enter into a large plaza. From there, Avignon is at your footsteps. Today's photoblog to discover is Harry Kikstra's Exposed Planet. If you're into adventure (climbing mountains, for example), then you should set aside a couple of hours and immerse yourself in this photoblog. So much to discover. Images captured range from a massive traffic jam in Moscow (having been there, I can attest that it is like that every single day) to kitesurfing in the Netherlands to descending Mount Denali in Alaska to a sunset on Aconcagua (South America's tallest mountain) to camping in Pakistan to an amazing view from Mount Everest (my favourite image on Exposed Planet). One of these days I'll travel to these extreme locales as well; at least, that's my aspiration. |
