![]() A blue door seen in Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia. If at first glance it appears too symmetrical, you'd be correct. I overlayed the right side of the door over the left because I didn't like the distracting elements in the original frame. In the month of April, at the end of every post, I'll highlight one photographer (and/or photoblog) who (which) I find inspiring. Today's photoblog to check out is Diane Varner's Daily Walks. The title of her photoblog comes from her daily walks (with her dog, Boomer) along the coastline and mountain trails of Northern California. Her images are full of detail and wonder; some images, especially her macros, seem to pop out of your screen. My favorites of hers include 'Nothing but Awkward,' 'The Sounds of a Crash,' 'New Mantra,' and 'Not Without Obstacles.' So, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and check out Diane Varner's Daily Walks, as it's most definitely worth exploring. |
