 This is a shot of a motorcycle I photographed in Madrid, Spain in July 2008. I captured this shot as I was sitting in a shaded area, eating a picnic lunch. It was a very bright day outside, as can be seen by the harsh shadows and the sun's reflections on the seat of the bike. I post-processed this shot in Photomatix Pro, then imported to Adobe Lightroom where I did a conversion to B&W, and finally made some adjustments in Photoshop CS3 (curves adjustment, highpass filter, sharpening). The background of this image looks kind of strange because I tried to pull back the overblown highlights, but I wasn't entirely successful. Anyone care to guess what inspired me to post this image today? |
