March got off to a surprising start today. After it rained almost the entire day yesterday and through the night, rain slowly turned to snow early in the morning today. I was very pessimistic that the snow was actually going to stick, but I was proven wrong within an hour. The snow kept falling until late evening today, and where I live, more than an inch of snow had accumulated.

I went outside about three times, played with my dog in the snow (he loves catching snowballs), and contemplated on building a snowman (in the end, I didn't though, as the snow was very wet). At around six in the evening, there was this amazing glow in the sky, with the sun setting in the distance. I was going to try to find a nice location to photograph, but realized the sun would have entirely set by the time I got there. Rather than passing up the opportunity of posting nothing, today's image is of the snow and sunset as seen from my neighborhood.
