There is this patch of land, between two neighborhoods, which isn't developed. It can't be used to build houses because massive power lines run through the area. In the last two months or so, bulldozers cleared the area. Then, grass was planted.

It turns out that this patch of land has become a sanctuary for geese (they may be seen in the distance in today's image). The only problem is that this land is improperly drained, so when there is rain, as there was today, a huge puddle of water (a mini-lake) forms. It's good for the geese, but not so much for the people living around the area.
