![]() In yesterday's entry, I mentioned that in 2008 I learned more about high dynamic range (HDR) photography. In 2008, I posted over 70 HDR images (click here to view my entire HDR gallery), which is close to 20% of all the images I posted on Erudite Expressions last year. I estimate that the percentage of HDR entries I will post in 2009 will increase, but I certainly don't foresee that I'll be posting more than 40% of the images as HDRs. In 2008, I posted one HDR image converted to B&W (link). I plan to post more B&W HDRs this year, and I think today's entry should set the stage for 2009. The conditions on this day in Tel Aviv were perfect for HDR photography: dark, moody skies interspersed with patches of light penetrating through the clouds, illuminating the waves and certain buildings, such as the one on the right. It was a stormy day, as can be seen from the number (and intensity) of waves pounding the shores of Tel Aviv. In tomorrow's entry, you'll see the view in the opposite direction. |
