I spent some time today at the market in Tel Aviv. For most of the time I spent there, I was walking with the Canon 5D + Canon 100mm macro combination. When I spotted a man who was writing people's names on a grain of rice, I stopped by and grabbed a few shots. Seen here is a finished product - a name written on a grain of rice, embedded into a tiny container, and finally sold as a necklace. The colours here are natural, including the sparkle from the rice grain (the booth with the artist and necklaces was located in an outdoor setting with the sun high in the sky). I've added this image to my macro gallery, which can be accessed by clicking here.
