Today's highlight was visiting the city of Tzfat (also known as Safed). Tzfat is one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities, along with Jerusalem, Tiberias, and Hebron. More prominently, Tzfat is known as the center for Kabbalah, or Jewish Mysticism.

We spent some time learning more about Kabbalah through art. We visited David Friedman's art gallery (link). It was very interesting.

Afterwards, we had some time to explore this small town. I must have walked through small alley seen in today's entry five or six times. A few curious residents stopped to see me setting up my tripod and camera to capture images for some HDRs (such as the image in today's entry). Indeed, one of my favourite things to photograph are quaint streets and alleyways, and I definitely had a lot of fun exploring this tiny town.
