![]() The next morning, we woke up at around 4 A.M., ate a quick breakfast, and proceeded toward the Masada (Hebrew: מצדה). We took the short path to get to the Masada (about twenty minutes of climbing). After getting to the top, we witnessed an amazing sunrise (I'll be posting an HDR image of the sunrise in the coming days). As for this image, it was taken about an hour after the sunrise as we proceeded toward the other side via the Snake Path. In the distance is the Dead Sea. At 420 meters (1,378 ft) below sea level, you're looking at the lowest place on Earth. |
