 This morning we woke up early, ate breakfast, and proceeded to explore Jerusalem. First we stopped on a hill for a wonderful overview of the city, and then we proceeded to the Old Quarter. Along the way, I captured the image seen in today's entry. One thing you'll notice is the vast number of Israeli flags displayed all over Israel. Israelis have a tremendous amount of national pride (I think much more than Americans), and they display the flag virtually everywhere (from balconies, on their cars, on their clothes, and so on). |
