central park reflections | December 15, 2008

Today I spent a half-day walking around Manhattan. Arriving to Penn Station from Newark, and transferring to the red subway line, I ended up in Central Park. The day was cloudy (though not particularly cold). As I was heading out of the park, I noticed a lady standing on a rock (far left, below center in the image), her head tilted down, deep in thought. I like this image for the reflections in the water, but also for a bit of greenery on the left to contrast against the naked trees in the distance; for me, the contrast served as a reminder that spring will be coming soon.
