![]() La Rambla is probably the most well-known street of Barcelona. At 1.2 kilometers in length, it is a wide boulevard (more like a pedestrian mall) connecting the Plaça Catalunya in the center with the Christopher Columbus monument at Port Vell. It's very busy, but of course a must-see when visiting Barcelona. Beware of pick-pockets, however! It's too easy to stop in the middle of the street to admire the street performers or other sights...Before you know, someone has 'accidentally' bumped into you, and you don't even realize that your wallet has been lifted. True story. |
