 The image in today's entry was captured on a sidewalk in Barcelona, Spain. Originally, my intention with this shot was to create an HDR. I had my tripod set up and shot three exposures. I didn't like the resulting tonemapped HDR image, however, so I converted the +0 EV image into the version seen in today's entry. It's technically imperfect (blown highlights in the sky, for example), but I still like it. The contrast between the two women walking is apparent: the lady in the back (right side of the image) is walking at a much faster pace than the lady ahead of her. Also, the leaves all over the sidewalk might make you think I was in Barcelona in the autumn, but this image was actually captured in June. Unrelated note: you might have noticed entries being posted later than usual. Expect some aberration from scheduled posts in the next week or two. |
