![]() I captured this image in the city of Avignon, France. Avignon is famous for its Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes); to see an image of it, click here. After I visited the Palais des Papes, I started exploring the city. I came to a small shop seen in this image (it is an HDR) and thought that it looked pretty neat. Through the window on the left of the frame, you can see the bottles of wine on sale (as well as a reflection of a car). Through the main door, there are jars of honey and other goods on sale as well. In the back of the store hangs a large painting of the Palais des Papes. It's hard to tell from this small resolution image (you'd have to buy a large print to see this detail), but there is a lady by the counter in the store. When I was setting up this image, the goal was to showcase the interesting barrel on the sidewalk which has pots (with plants) on top of the barrel. However, after examining this image, I like it for other small details: the bucket from which roses are growing on the left, the aforementioned lady by the counter, and the mysterious 'arrow' near the center of the frame. |
