This image was captured in the same public park (in Madrid) as the images I posted in entries on September 7, September 8, and September 9 (click on the dates to be taken to the respective image posted on that date).

In this case, I knew exactly what the lady as looking at: there was a gazebo in which couples could enter and dance to the lively (lovely) music. I initially walked up the steps to enter the gazebo to take some pictures, but I hesitated and left the scene because I thought I'd be interrupting the flow. So instead of shooting the dancing couples, I photographed the intrigued spectators. Of the images which I captured, this one is my favourite. It's interesting to me because she was trying to remain somewhat anonymous (she was a fair distance away from the gazebo), but at the same time - judging by her facial expression and body language - she is very interested in what she is observing. She must have stood in the same area for about five minutes (maybe longer, as I eventually proceeded to a different area of the park). Other elements in this image which I like include the hat that she is clutching in her hands and the colour green (the lady's pants, the leaves of the trees in the background, and the green tape in the far distance).

News regarding prints which you may order from this photoblog: I am looking into incorporating the ability to buy prints together with frames (in one super convenient package). In general, I think the selection of a frame which could (should?) go with a particular image is a personal choice. I am still thinking about this option (which I may blog about on my prints blog in the future). For now I am thinking that it may be a good idea to offer the ability to purchase a print with a frame, especially since I will be able to offer frames which will perfectly fit the most popular print size - the 8 inch by 12 inch print. What I have to figure out is the actual implementation of the system (since the selection of a frame is highly dependent on the individual's tastes and preferences); do I offer only one or two choices to pick from, allow the buyer to e-mail me their choice of frame (from a selected list), or something else entirely? If you have any thoughts on this matter, feel free to leave a comment.
