 This week at Erudite Expressions I am posting on a theme. This week's theme revolves around life in Spain; in particular, all of these images will incorporate people in the frame. Starting off today we see an artist painting some portraits based on photos. I captured this image at Puerta del Sol (Gate of the Sun) in Madrid, Spain. It is one of the busiest areas of the city, and this artist definitely had quite a few spectators. In this particular instance, I was shooting with the macro lens and had the option of focusing on the artist or his work; I chose to focus on the pictures and paintings, as I thought that the focus on the back of his head would be uninteresting.
