![]() Today, we departed Torremolinos and headed toward Seville. On the way, we stopped in the picturesque town of Ronda. Ronda is situated in a very mountainous area about 750 meters above mean sea level. The Rio Guadalevín runs through the city, dividing it in two and carving out the steep El Tajo canyon upon which the city is perched. I didn't buy any postcards in Ronda because this is my 'postcard from Ronda.' To get this shot, I had to very delicately squeeze my camera in between protective steel bars found on the Puento Nuevo bridge. Additionally, my camera was set on a tripod, with the self-timer activated; the three exposures which I captured allowed me to create this high dynamic range (HDR) image of Ronda and its surroundings. I will get a large print (at least 18 inches by 12 inches) of this image because Ronda was one of my favourite destinations in Spain. |
