 Today there was an optional excursion to Gibraltar, but I decided that it would be better to have a day of rest. Some of the things I did today included swimming in the hotel's pool, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, shopping for souvenirs, and eating ice cream. Near the end of the day, as I was heading back to the hotel, I set up my tripod and camera and captured the image seen in today's entry. It was an enchanting evening, and if the picture is any indication, it was hard to tell where the sea ended and the sky began. There is some blurring in the image (particularly in the sand and the 'leaves' of the beach umbrellas). The blurring is due to the combination of the exposure time (eight seconds) and a modest breeze this evening. |
