![]() The next day our cruise ship made port in Tunis, Tunisia. Today's excursion was to the Medina of Tunis. But first, we traveled about twenty kilometers north of the city to the picturesque town of Sidi Bou Said (Arabic: سيدي بو سعيد). Sidi Bou Said is famous for its lovely white houses with blue roofs, doors, and windows. I had a great time exploring this tiny village (all of the village's streets can be traversed in a couple of hours). I captured the image seen in today's entry when I reached the end of the main road through the village. The image is an HDR, and it is composed of three bracketed exposures separated by two stops. |
