 Today, April 24, marks the two year anniversary of this photoblog, Erudite Expressions. It's kind of funny that I began this photoblog two years ago with an image of a gorilla (click here to see it). I have come a long way since then. For the most part, I have been uploading an image a day every single day since April 24, 2006. There have been a few exceptions where I was traveling or was too busy with school, in which case I uploaded my images retroactively. Since starting Erudite Expressions, I have posted over seven hundred images on this photoblog. Posting an image a day is certainly a challenge. It's not difficult like school or relationships are difficult, but it's a challenge in that I sometimes spend an hour or longer debating which image to put up on a given day. Sometimes, it's fairly straightforward. Other times, I spend hours raiding the archives in search of a lost image which is worth putting up. Many times, the image I put up on a given day reflects my mood. Truly, there have been times when I didn't have any great material to post, and as a result, some of the images which I did post aren't that good (or even downright crappy). Though maybe that's to be expected given that this is a daily photoblog and not a portfolio of my work. Of course, I am still learning new things relating to photography every day, so we'll see where year three takes me. To commemorate the two year anniversary of this photoblog, I am having a sale on prints which you can buy from this photoblog (via the purchase button which is visible at the bottom of those images which are for sale). Since my favourite image size is an 8 inch by 12 inch print, I have decided that it will be the only option available for purchase. The deal is as follows: order one 8 inch by 12 inch print from my photoblog, and receive another 8 inch by 12 inch print (totally different image) for free. The payment is via paypal (though do contact me by e-mail if you prefer to buy via another way), and the $20 price includes shipping for orders anywhere in the United States. Since I can't implement a system where you order two prints by making a selection, e-mail me with your second image choice.
