 While I was in Greenville last month, I had the opportunity to photograph the 2007 Miss United States winner, Ashley Kazian. Hailing from Greer, SC, she was named Miss Greater Greer in 2006. Then, at the age of 21, she went on to win the title of Miss South Carolina. Most recently, she continued her path of pageantry success by winning the Miss United States crown. The location of the photo shoot was in downtown Greenville; all the shots were taken in an outdoor setting. This particular image was taken near the end of the photo shoot. Here, I used the Canon 50mm lens and captured this image at f/3.2 at 1/2000 seconds. I have decided to go with a wide angle shot as my first entry in this series, as all the entries after this post will have a tighter crop. Besides, the engineer in me loves bridges, and you can see another beautiful image of a bridge in Greenville in this earlier post.
