I went out tonight to photograph the full lunar eclipse. The event began at around 8:40 PM ET and lasted until past midnight. All in all, I captured over one hundred shots tonight. I captured this image when the moon was still low in the sky (around 9PM), and the tall tree visible in this image provided for an interesting composition. The moon in this image is overexposed, as I was trying to figure out proper exposure times for the rest of the night. I'll see if I can come up with a time-lapse photo of the total lunar eclipse for my next entry.
