 The other day as I was sitting at home, I heard an unusual rustle outside. I looked out the window and saw hundreds of birds on my lawn. This scene was absolutely crazy, as my lawn had transformed into blackness. I hastily grabbed my camera, pushed open the front door - which startled the birds into flight - and snapped off this image. The birds flew synchronously from one area to another; here they have swooped from my lawn to a nearby tree in a neighbor's yard. About thirty seconds later, the birds disappeared from view altogether, but at least I was able to capture this image for posterity. |
