 After spending about forty minutes on top of Angels Landing photographing the sights around me and finishing my lunch, I headed back down on the same trail. The hike back was mostly uneventful, except that it was now a lot warmer, and I took off several layers of clothing. There are still some other shots from the top of Angels Landing which I have post-processed, but I will post them sometime in the (indeterminate) future. As for this shot: it was captured at the very beginning of the trail to Angels Landing. The only post-processing that was involved in this image was a minor crop and the addition of vignetting. In order to properly expose for both the flowers and the mountains in the distance, this shot was captured at f/20 at 1/125 seconds. At the completion of this hike, it was off to another adventure in Zion National Park, which you'll see (and read about) in my subsequent entries. |
